Nashua Cobras (0) vs. Souhegan (0)
The boys fought hard for a 0-0 draw today under the hot, sunny sky
at Stellos Stadium this afternoon.
Jonathan was stunning in net, making a few key saves including
an outstanding save on a breakaway.
The Cobras were a little rocky in the first half, but given that
they hadn't played outdoors since the Fall and there are a number
of new players on the team, it wasn't too bad.
Much of the play was in the Cobras end during the first half, but
that switched in the second half as the boys got their outdoor
legs and took it to Souhegan. Josh E, Max, Nate and Tim each
had good scoring chances, but to no avail.
It was a good first game with lots of hustle from the boys and we
look forward to Bedford tomorrow.
