- From an attention stance, move into a meditating horse stance then
slide your right foot back to 6:00 into a left neutral bow facing 12:00.
- Execute a front chicken kick (front leg then rear leg) to 12:00, and
plant into a right neutral bow, facing 12:00.
- Execute a front chicken kick (rear leg then front leg) to 12:00, and
plant into a right neutral bow, facing 12:00.
- Execute a back chicken kick (front leg then rear leg) to 6:00, and
plant your left foot to 6:00 into a right neutral bow, facing 12:00.
- Execute a back chicken kick (rear leg then front leg) to 6:00, and

TWO MAN SET
In this set, unlike my technique descriptions, I've described the clock
directions from your current point of view rather than from the original
starting point. I found it easier to follow this way.
- Right foot steps to 3:00 while doing a right back knuckle to face.
- Left foot steps back 7:30 while doing left inward and right outward
blocks followed by a left horizontal punch to ribs.
- Left foot steps to 1:30 while doing right downward elbow to deflect
the punch. Pivot clockwise into a right Neutral Bow facing opponent
while doing a right thrusting hand sword to neck.
- Left inward parry, right outward parry, right step-thru while doing a
right middle knuckle to ribs. Left step-thru and unwind into a right
Neutral Bow while doing right back knuckle to kidney.
- Left foot steps to 9:00 while doing a right rear elbow, then pivot
clockwise toward opponent into a right Neutral Bow while doing a left
thrust punch to ribs.
- Wrap and break the left arm and follow with a right ball kick to ribs.
- Turn into a left reverse bow while doing a right downward block, as
your left fist cocks to your to left ear (elbow high). do a left
front crossover and, as your right foot steps out, do a right overhead
back knuckle to opponents face.
- Left rear crossover (as A is doing their crossover) into a right
rear twist stance while doing a left upward block. Step drag (gauging
distance) into a left sidekick.
- Right downward smothering block, then step to 9:00 with your left foot
while doing a left uppercut.
- Left hook, right bump and left inward handsword to face.
- Right upward block circling into a right inverted hammerfist to kidney.
- Left foot back into a left 90 degree cat stance while doing left
inward block. Step out with your left foot into a left Neutral Bow
while doing a left vertical eye-poke.
- Right outward extended block, grab opponents forearm, left half-fist
to throat.
- Right outward extended block, grab opponents forearm, push-drag into
a left inward elbow to solar plexus.
- Left rear cross-over, stop in the middle, cheat to the left with your
right foot then pivot counter clockwise into a right Neutral Bow while
doing a right downward diagonal elbow followed by a right outward
thumb-knuckle to eye.
- Right upward slap-up into right outward handsword to ribs.
- Right foot steps back into a right cat stance while doing a right
inward block. Step to 1:30 with your right foot (behind opponent)
with a right outward elbow.
- Left foot steps back into a left cat stance while doing a left
downward back knuckle to elbow. Step out to 11:00 with your right
foot while doing a left tigers paw, palm up, choke.
- Left inward parry as you step to 10:30 with your left foot to match
opponents angle and do a right heel-palm to ribs.
- Step back with your left foot to match opponents angle while doing a
right hooking forearm and a left heel-palm to ribs.
- Step back to 4:30 with your left foot into a left reverse bow while
doing a right downward block then a right roundhouse kick.
- Step back to 4:30 with your left foot (to same line as opponent) while
doing a right outward extended block, spinning opponent. Left rear
crossover and begin again as A.
- Right front crossover and begin again as B.
THE BOOK SET
This set is not required. In fact, most people don't know it and, therefore,
don't run it. The story (from what I heard anyway) was that Mr. Parker found
this form in a book in a library in the Chinatown section of Los Angeles. I
believe it was initially used and Form 4 before it was removed from the system
and replaced with the current Form 4.
This set has a Kung-Fu look to it and, if you look close enough when you run
it, you'll see pieces of Parker Kenpo techniques.
The description below is mostly complete and I am still working on it. It
should be reasonably good up through the last 8-10 movements.
- Salutation into a Horse Stance.
- Left low 4-finger poke (fingers just moving past your stomach) into
an inverted upward claw to face level, circling out with your hand
returning to your side.
- Wrist release, rotating your hand (almost in place) counter clockwise
into a push-down block.
- Circle your left arm counter clockwise with an overhead downward claw,
stopping at face level, then pull the claw left and circle your arm
back to your side.
- Do 3 left hand heel-palms (with tension) straight out at stomach level.

an inverted upward claw to face level, circling out, with your hand
returning to your side.
- Wrist release, rotating your hand (almost in place) counter clockwise

- As you breathe in deep, slowly draw your open (palm up) hand up to your
chest, flip them over your face and do double heel-palm claws, stopping
at chest level and drawing your hands back to your chest.
- Do 3 double heel-palms (with tension) straight out at chest level.
- Do double upward elbows into double heel-palm claws, stopping at chest
level and drawing your hands back to your chest, crossed with your
right arm over your left arm.
- Shoot both arms out to your sides, elbows slightly bent, fingers
(poking) at an upward angle. The shape of your arms and body should
form a 'W'.
- Left full extension finger poke (with tension) to face level.
- Draw your hands back to your chest, crossed with your right arm over
your left arm.
- Shoot both arms out to your sides, elbows slightly bent, fingers
(poking) at an upward angle. The shape of your arms and body should
form a 'W'.
- Right full extension finger poke (with tension) to face level.

of it as you slide your left foot towards the right (funky cover step)

- Unwind counter clockwise 360 degrees so that you are facing 12:00 in a
left forward bow with your right arm extended fully straight out to
12:00 and your left arm full extended straight out to 6:00.
- Step through with your right foot into a right neutral bow while doing
a wrist release (wrapping your right hand clockwise).
- Do left, right than left horizontal thrust punches, leaving the final
left punch extended.
- Do a left rear ball snap kick, landing in a horse stance facing 12:00.
- Do a right low check and a left high heel palm to 1:30 followed by a
left ball kick to 1:30, landing back to your original position.
- Do a left low check and a right high heel palm to 10:30 followed by a
right ball kick to 10:30, landing back to your original position.
- Left circling (windmill) parry followed by a right circling (windmill)
parry and another left circling (windmill) parry as you slide your
right leg up into a right cat stance.

rotating your arms so that the left arm is extended in front and the

- Lean towards your left into a deep left neutral bow facing 7:30 while
doing right (high) and left (low) open hand checks towards 7:30.
- Lean towards 10:30 again into a deep right neutral bow towards 10:30
while doing left (high) and right (low) open hand checks towards 10:30.
- Slide your left footup to your right foot into a left cat stance
facing 9:00 with your left arm straight out to 9:00, elbow slightly
bent, fingers (poking) at an upward angle while your right hand does
an inward claw from left to right slightly above your head (pretend
your drawing a bow readying to shoot an arrow).
- Pivot to 12:00 and up to attention stance.
